About the A Child's Heart Association
The Association was established by Rabbi Efraim Ben Zvi, out of a deep understanding of the spirit of giving, which does not differentiate between religion, race or gender. The Rabbi, who has been devoting his life to the public for more than two decades now, identified the people’s need for support among an increasing number of families, and proceeded to establish the ‘A Child’s Heart’ Association in order to provide an integrated response to all those who seek its help.
The Association's Objectives
Welfare and aid is provided to the sick and their families, victims of hostilities, at-risk children, battered women and people who are inflicted with chronic diseases. It provides assistance in purchasing food to families in need and aid in purchasing electrical appliances and clothing. The Association also provides support and aid to soldiers with the aim of spreading the Torah in Israel and around the world.
The Association aspires to become a beacon in the lives of children and families surrounded by darkness and to shine the light of hope for a better future.
The love of mankind is the cornerstone of the Association's activities. Derived from the perception of unity and a shared destiny, we support the people shoulder to shoulder and hand in hand with spiritual, material and medical aid to every family from all sectors.
We see solidarity as an important value to strengthen the power and unity of Israel's society. The Association works to recruit professionals and donors who share the sense of responsibility towards the infirm and those in need.
We are blessed to have been able to bring joy to so many people. Every social activity, new school bag, holiday dinner and medical assistance create a sparkle of happiness and a positive energy which strengthens us all.
About the Founder:
Rabbi Efraim Ben Zvi Shalita
Rabbi Efraim Ben Zvi brings with him a unique wisdom – the combination of extensive and in-depth knowledge of the worlds of Kabbalah and mysticism, with informed knowledge of the disciplines of alternative medicine, naturopathy and philosophy. Even in his youth, the Rabbi was gifted with extraordinary learning abilities and was revealed to have great aspirations and a deep thirst for spiritual knowledge. As a young adult he studied philosophy at the Tel Aviv University, and naturopathy at the university in California for his Ph.D. (recognized in the United States). Later on his continued journey in Jerusalem, he delved into the study of mysticism, while providing consultations and assistance by reading the Holy Books.
As a person who provides advice and spiritual guidance in all walks of life to tens of thousands of people, and as someone who dedicates his life to the public with love on a cross-sector mission for the past two decades – the establishment of the ‘A Child’s Heart’ Association to support families in need, constitutes for Rabbi Efraim Zvi the natural course of action towards a world of grace, giving and the love of Israel.
